Join us for an open-air celebration of emerging Indie/Rock in the backyard of UNION. Expect live performances, a curated pop-up featuring local artists, food, and a full day of music and creative exchange.

CAPSULA SESSIONS is a series of cultural gatherings that brings together live music, community, and artistic expression, creating connections across different forms of independent culture.
Born from a CAPSULA project dedicated to producing audiovisual sessions with emerging bands, the initiative aims to amplify new voices within the music scene and create meaningful encounters between artists and audiences. Each edition begins with the recording of an audiovisual session and culminates in a live performance by the featured bands.
For its third edition, CAPSULA SESSIONS will focus on the Indie/Rock scene and take place in the backyard of UNION, Copenhagen, as an open-air daytime event running from 13:00 to 20:00.
Alongside the live music program, the event will feature a curated pop-up showcasing artists from different creative disciplines, fostering exchange and collaboration across artistic communities. A food area will also be part of the experience, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy the event throughout the day.
CAPSULA SESSIONS Vol. 3 is an invitation to discover emerging music, connect with local creative communities, and celebrate independent culture through a shared experience of music, art, and gathering.

Mauro Miranda invites audiences on a musical journey to the Peruvian Andes, where nature, tradition, and spirituality come together. With a remarkable collection of authentic Andean instruments, he creates a rare and immersive soundscape rooted in ancestral traditions. Joined by Argentine percussionist Fernando Massino, Mauro presents original compositions where ancient sounds meet contemporary expression, offering a powerful concert of rhythm, depth, and connection to the living culture of the Andes. CANTARES
Cantares is a duo formed by Venezuelan singer Nathaly Gómez and Peruvian multi-instrumentalist and musicologist Camilo Pajuelo. Cantares was born in 2017, in Helsinki, inspired by a common passion for traditional music and the desire to promote it in the Nordic countries. The repertoire includes their own versions of popular songs created by prominent composers, embracing a wide variety of Latin American genres and styles. Cantares offered his first official concert at the church of Leppävaara in Espoo, in November 2017. Since then, maintains a constant activity in Finland and has performed also in Estonia, France, Italy, Peru, and Spain, cooperating also with local artists and from other nationalities.

The second concert night of the Festival Sonamos Latinoamerica brings together two vibrant performances where tradition and cultural exchange take center stage.TRIO CANDOMBE FUSION.

TRIO Candombe Fusion is a Copenhagen-based band that explores an innovative fusion of Afro-Uruguayan Candombe with jazz, funk, and urban music. Their sound pays tribute to the rich heritage of Candombe, while also highlighting its ongoing evolution and its influence on global contemporary genres. Through rhythm and improvisation, TRIO Candombe Fusion creates a vibrant musical dialogue between tradition and modernity-celebrating the drum not only as an instrument, but as a living symbol of memory, resistance, and community.
ORIENTINO DUO
Orientino Duo is a piano, percussion, and vocal ensemble uniting musical traditions from Latin America and the Middle East. Their collaboration centers on a repertoire that bridges these cultures through rhythm, song, and improvisation. The duo features Chilean-Swedish concert pianist and singer Tania Naranjo and Syrian-Swedish darbuka player and vocalist Bader Debs. Their program includes interpretations of repertoire associated with Fairuz, Abdel Halim Hafez, Violeta Parra, Mercedes Sosa, and Tom Jobim, alongside original compositions.

The third and final night of the Festival Sonamos Latinoamerica celebrates 10 years of music, connection, and cultural exchange with two powerful Colombian voices.MONTAÑERA.

Montañera is the musical project of Colombian singer-songwriter María Mónica Gutiérrez, one of the most distinctive voices of Colombia's contemporary music scene. Blending electronic, folk, and ambient sounds, her work moves between intimacy and experimentation. Based in London, she has built an international career performing across Europe, the United States, and Latin America, with her music featured in Netflix series and major festivals such as SXSW, WOMAD, and Lollapalooza. Her latest album, A Flor de Piel (2023), further cements her singular artistic voice.
MAMBE
Mambe is a Colombian singer, rapper, songwriter, and activist whose music blends Latin roots, global bass, and electronic experimentation. Together with Mexican-Danish producer Danochilango, she creates a powerful fusion of cumbia, dancehall, hip-hop, Balkan brass, and urban beats. Singing in Spanish, English, Danish, and Swedish, Mambe transforms her live performances into energetic celebrations of cultural diversity, social justice, and collective resistance.

De har sat gang i talrige knejper, smugkroer og festivaler. Nu er de endelig klar med deres debut-EP, og det skal fejres med en release-koncert på Union.

KaniBalkan er en trio, der er opstået ud af en dyb passion for europæisk traditionel musik, glæden ved mødet med publikum og et mangeårigt musikalsk venskab.
Med rødder i romamusik og balkantraditioner forener bandet traditionelle sange med egne kompositioner krydret med ørkenguitar, latinamerikanske grooves, fortællelyst, legesyge og stærkt dansable rytmer. Resultatet er et levende og udtryksfuldt musikalsk univers, der inviterer publikum til både fordybelse og bevægelse.
Nu er KaniBalkan klar med deres første udgivelse. I efteråret 2026 udkommer debut-EP'en Live Momentum, optaget over to rygende varme koncertaftener på Teater Momentum i Odense. EP'en indfanger trioens stærkeste kendetegn: den levende energi, det tætte samspil og den særlige kontakt mellem musikere og publikum. Her er musikken fanget, som den udfolder sig i øjeblikket - spontan, nærværende og fuld af liv.
Første smagsprøve på udgivelsen er singlen Alim Kokoriko Bijav, En sang om at vandre alene gennem natten uden nogen at danse med. En melankolsk og længselsfuld fortælling, båret frem af hypnotiske rytmer og den særlige blanding af vemod og livsglæde, som kendetegner KaniBalkans musik.
Med et mangfoldigt arsenal af instrumenter og en stærk musikalsk energi skaber KaniBalkan koncerter, der bevæger sig frit på tværs af traditioner, kulturer og kontinenter og rummer både intime øjeblikke og festlige fællesskaber.

As the year turns darker and the air in Copenhagen becomes heavier, Nostalgiología arrives as a live performance shaped precisely for this moment. Fran De Pian presents his new album with an immersive concert at the heart of the nostalgia season.

This special concert takes place in what many consider the most nostalgic time of the year. But instead of leaning into melancholy, the night opens up into something far more collective, warm, and alive.
Fran De Pian presents Nostalgiología in its most direct and powerful live form: a duo performance with drummer Alan Rodríguez. The songs from Nostalgiología are reimagined for the stage as living structures, open to rhythm, silence, and intensity. Together they bring the album to stage as an emotional rollercoaster, a rhythm-driven experience where songs, memory fragments, and visual storytelling collide in real time.The performance unfolds alongside handcrafted vintage visuals drawn from Fran's personal archive.
Along with De Pian and Rodriguez, the night is built around collaboration and presence. A series of invited guests will join throughout the performance, transforming the show into a living, shifting constellation of voices, textures, and unexpected moments. What could have been nostalgia as isolation becomes something else entirely: a collective experience, immediate and physical.
This is not about looking back. It is about what happens when memory is shared in the present tense.
