For this special concert they have invited their long time friend and colleague, one of Ghanas leading musicians, the amazing flutist: Dela Botri.
Katrine and Dela has played together since 2015 in Ghana and Denmark under the name Rhythm and Wind. Pls listen to their album Ghana Calling from 2018.

Lamine Cisshoko says:" I am inspired by the mandinka melodies inherited from my griot ancestors. I weave and braid together jazz tunes with oriental melodies, nordic folk music and improvisations. My kora is a soft and mystic companion, my voice for harmony and respect."
Dela Botri
Dela Botri, is an internationally acclaimed musician who plays the the Atenteben, a Ghanaian traditional flute made out of bamboo. Leader of nine piece Ghanaian band, Hewale Sounds. Lead singer and percussionist as well. He waxes into the contemporary while keeping a link to his roots and has been compared to African artists such as Habib Koite, Salif Keita and Youssour Ndour.Katrine Suwalski is a musician and a composer of considerable scope and imagination. She has created her own distinctive fusion of Jazz and West African Influences. Front figure of her band, Another World, co-leader of BonNoir Trio and Rhythm & Wind, she has collaborated with soloist from in and outside Denmark. As a composer she is inspired by great jazz composers such as Ellington, Mingus and Abdullah Ibrahim. Lamine Cissokho is from Casamance region in southern Senegal, and comes from a family of mandinka griots, whose traditions date back to the 14'th century. The kora is passed from father to son, so are it's melodies and apprenticeship. Lamine has lived in Sweden since 2001 and has performed in concerts and festival in more than fifteen countries touring with Youssou N'dour. He is also known for his cooperation with Jazzpianist Olivier Hutman, Blues singer Eric Bibb,Ayi Solomon, Virtuoso percussionist, lives in Denmark. Ayi Solomon grew up in Accra, but left Ghana in the early 80's with the reggae band Classic Vibes. Since then he has made a big career on the international Jazz and World Music scene. Plays with Kojo Antwi in Ghana. Has played with US musicians: Randy Brecker, Jerry Bergonzi, Adam Nussbaum. Especially known in DK for his cooperation with New Jungle Orchestra and Palle Mikkelborg.
